Cambridge’s discretionary grant fund aims to support small businesses in shared/serviced accommodation in Cambridge, market and street traders, Bed and Breakfasts and charities and not-for-profit organisations in the city who:
- have been struggling to survive due to the Coronavirus shutdown
- are not eligible for other current grant schemes relating to Covid-19, such as Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grants or the Small Business Grants. However, those eligible for or in receipt of funding from the Job Retention Scheme or the Self-Employed Support Scheme are eligible for discretionary grants
Grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 are available depending on the type of applicant and eligibility.
Businesses that are insolvent, in administration or subject to a striking-off notice are not eligible for this grant.
Please read our Discretionary Grant fund web page before applying for full eligibility criteria and guidance on how to apply. To qualify for this grant, applicants must meet all the relevant criteria set out in our discretionary grant policy.
Please be aware that you must attach requested documentation to this form. Failure to do so could mean you miss out on a discretionary grant award.
Complete applications will be assessed within 7-10 working days of receipt (including the processing of payments in the case of successful applications).
